Disc Golf

Koljonvirta Camping & Catering has a 9-cage disc golf course circling around the vast grass area of the camping site. You can use your own discs or rental ones available at the camping site info.

Mini Golf

Koljonvirta Camping has a recently renovated miniature golf course. Clubs and balls can be rented from the camping site info.

Here in Iisalmi, you can try snowmobile safaris and snowshoeing in the winter! Also, there’s an ice skiing track from Iisalmi harbor to Sikokallio area. See current ski track conditions here.

Paloisvuori

Paloisvuori is a sports and recreation area offering a wide range of sporting opportunitieson the narrow ridges called eskers that rise to the south of Iisalmi’s town centre. The area has an extensive network of walking routes along with cross-country ski tracks and a downhill ski centre in winter. ‘’Paloski’’ has a ski slope, a sledgding slope and a ski lift, plus a small café.

Sports in Kangaslampi Winter

Sonkajärvi’s extensive network of cross-country ski tracks starts right from the town centre. Most of the tracks around Kangaslampi ski centre are illuminated. The first track is opened when the first snow falls.
